Trackside, testing & tuition

We offer a range of services and packages for all levels of driver, from a novice driver entering into the world of motorsport or a road owner wanting to learn how to drive on track, to a seasoned racer looking to optimise setup and find fractions of a second.

Our staff have a considerable level of competitive experience to call upon and have spent time driving Caterhams, perhaps something to bear in mind with other tutors that have limited experience in Caterham racing.

Andy Adshead - ARDS qualified race instructor and winner of the Caterham Graduates Championship in 2004 continues to provide primarily trackday based instruction where direct communcation can be provided as a passenger or driver, linked by intercom.

Andy McMillan - test driver for Palmer Sport, when based at Bruntingthorpe, has the enviable reputation to be able to jump into a car and be competitive within a handful of laps... Regular entrant into races including MegaGrad class, during the both Pemrbey 2005 rounds he was able to pull a 20second gap over the 20minute race! Again able to offer 'one to one' instruction on trackdays. As a race licence holder, is able to drive your racecar on 'test' days to offer instant advice on setup and vehicle/engine issues.

Tuition

We offer a range of packages including the use of video equipment attached to the vehicle which is subsequently downloaded to CD, allowing pupils to compare racing lines, braking zones and acceleration after the track event. Tuition can be provided on a one-to-one basis, however we offer combined days where we can provide tuition to groups of 2 or 4 people, with the costs and time with instructors split accordingly.

Testing & race support

For testing and race support, we are able to provide mechanical services for an individual or collection of cars. Providing setup changes, lap analysis and car hire for test days, to providing a team of mechanics and spares packages for race support.
