Welcome...
Having relied upon word of mouth & reputation we felt that it was time to review both how our existing and potential new customers learnt more about us.
As a new site there may be the odd teething problem so please bear with us, better still let us know and we will attend to it as soon as possible.
Where do we do it...?
Located in Hinckley provides an excellent central location readily accessible from the UK's motorway network. In addition we are 5mins from the railway station and town centre.
We are less than 10mins from Mallory Park and just over 30mins from Silverstone, therefore still having access to local testing facilites, of course our original home of Bruntingthorpe is still only 25mins away.
Dropping off your vehicle at a convenient time to suit you is still not a problem and with prior notice we are still able to accept your vehicle out of normal working hours and at weekends.
We have vehicle transportation facilities from a single vehicle to an 11 car transporter. If you need your car, or cars, transporting then please contact us.
Who are we...?
McMillan Motorsport is a relatively small business specialising in the the preparation, maintenance and repair of Caterham road and race cars.
Whilst our name has histrocially been involved in motorsport we also undertake work on road cars, from routine maintenance, repairs, MOT preparation & testing, routine & planned servicing, body work repairs & painting.
In addition to numerous racing car owners, there are many members of the 'Lotus 7 Club' who bring their cars to us. We were also employed by them to provide technical support for their 'Le Sept' event in 2005.
The majority of business is through repeat customers, which speaks volumes for our sensible approach to ensuring that problems are correctly and quickly diagnosed and that all work is carried out cost effectively.

Experience...?
From the start of his career Andy McMillan has been involved in motorsport. As apprentice to Roger Clarke he cut his teeth in competitive racing & rose to become chief mechanic for their Clio Race Team.
Seeking further challenge, and having started to make a name for himself, he was approached by Jonathon Palmer to operate and head up the workshops for his 'Palmer Days' at Bruntingthorpe. After 6 years there he was approached to become workshop manager at 'Classic Carriages' and joined them for 2 years, then during its change to 'Caterham Midlands' decided to go it alone and establish McMillan Motorsport.
In these early days the links with Caterham Cars were maintained when he built the infamous Nurburgring 24hr car... the rest, as they say, is history.
Since then, & working with the Graduates Racing
Club, we have become a recognised name within
the Caterham racing industry. Providing race &
technical support for the Graduates Club as
well as individual owners & racers.
However we are more than 'one person'
and we employ several technicians,
ensuring that qualified staff are always
working on your car.
Anything that a Caterham owner would require in one location.
